The Beauty Awards will be the largest Canadian beauty awards program celebrating 6 categories and 80+ subcategories
(TORONTO, ON) June 7, 2021 – FASHION, Chatelaine and Chåtelaine announce the call for submissions for the newly reimagined Beauty Awards. The Beauty Awards, which are a collaboration between the three iconic Canadian brands, will be the largest beauty awards program in Canada.
The new Beauty Awards winners will be featured in a print insert in a spring 2022 issue of each publication. The winners will also be showcased for one year on TheBeautyAwards.ca (coming soon) as well as being featured in a digital article on FASHION magazine.com, Chatelaine.com and fr.Châtelaine.com.
The Beauty Awards invites international beauty brands to enter their best products to the Awards’ six main categories: Bath & Body, Cosmetics, Skin care, Fragrance, Hair and Nail care and Tools, Tech & Accessories. The Beauty Awards will feature 80+ categories, from foundation to a grey hair treatment to bath bombs.
This year, new influential judges across Canada were secured to vote and reveal the most impressive beauty products available in the market. The judging panel will include top Canadian influencers, beauty and skin professionals and more. Each panel was curated from the industry’s authorities and top influencers, consisting of aestheticians, beauty editors, dermatologists, hair and makeup artists, manicurists and more.
Pulling from the annual FASHION #BeautyForAll Awards and the Chatelaine beauty list, The Beauty Awards will build on the strong pillars of both programs to showcase the best in beauty for all ages, races and genders across Canada.
Brands can submit their product for entry in this year’s Beauty Awards on thebeautyawards.awardsplatform.com The early bird deadline for submissions is June 18, 2021 at 5:00 p.m. and the regular submission deadline is August 20, 2021 at 5:00 p.m.
Winners will be revealed in print in Spring 2022 and featured online across all platforms.

Q: Do the products need to be recent releases?
A: Products for submission can be products released at any time.
Q: What do the winners receive?
A: All winners will be featured in a digital article on FASHIONmagazine.com, Chatelaine.com and fr.Châtelaine.com and in a special print mini issue in spring 2022 issue of each publication. Each will also be featured for one year on TheBeautyAwards.com (coming soon!).
Q: How can I promote my award?
A: Purchasing the rights to the winners seal will allow you to market your winning product with the authority of our iconic brands. Winners are also able to purchase exclusive social, digital and print packages to showcase their win further.
Q: Can I submit a product that hasn’t been released yet?
A: Yes, however we would need to be able to receive samples of the product by the product submission deadline (August 27, 2021). If you don’t have the shoppable link yet this can be added to the submission at a later time when it is available to ensure our readers can shop for it later.
Q: Can I ship the products right away?
A: The products need to be received by September 4th and can be shipped any time prior. The shipping address is 15 Benton Road, Toronto, ON M6M 3G2.
Q: I want to submit a product in multiple categories, can I do this?
A: You can submit a product in multiple categories, but these need to be entered as separate submissions as they will be judged separately and may be tested by a different set of judges.
Q: I want my beauty brand to be featured but I don’t want to take part in the program, how can I do this?
A: We have a separate Beauty Lab program that you can take part in that allows our editors to sample your products and give a realistic review.
Q: Why does it cost to submit?
A: The human resources for our team to keep everything organized is tremendous including making sure the judges receive and test all of the amazing products. You can also take the fee you pay for submission to put it toward promoting your product’s win or a Beauty Lab feature.
Q: Why do I need to send ten samples?
A: We need to test your product! We need supply our judges with the samples so we’re truly letting enough experts experience the product and give a fair review.
