Introducing ‘Wonder’ – The Next Chapter in Memorable Brand Experiences by SJC Media

Written by

SJC Media, publisher of Canada's top media titles including FASHION, Toronto Life and Maclean’s, proudly unveils 'Wonder' as the fresh identity for its thriving events business that crafts unforgettable experiences blending food, fashion, learning, and culture through the art of brand-driven storytelling.

Offering an array of signature, client, and Insider membership events, the new Wonder pillar highlights SJC Media’s ambitious growth plans in the events and experiential marketing space. Leveraging the editorial integrity and audience reach of its iconic brands, Wonder offers the benefits of cross-channel coverage, custom content storytelling and performance marketing advantages to maximize ROI.

“I am so proud of our talented team, that over the last year alone has put on more than 100 incredible experiences for our media brands and clients,” says Jason Maghanoy, Group Publisher of Wonder, Canadian Business, Maclean’s and Toronto Life. “Creating those real moments of connection is so important to authentically connect with audiences. Light, spectrum, beauty, and creativity all come to mind when I think of our experiential offerings, which is why ‘Wonder’ is the perfect name for our expanding events pillar.”

SJC Media entered the events space in 2016 with the launch of its popular annual event Toronto Life Best Restaurants. The success continued in 2018 with the introduction of its TL Insider membership program which provides a curated selection of experiences across the city.

Today, SJC curates multiple virtual and in-person events powered by its iconic brands and collaborates with clients across diverse industries. On January 18, 2024, Wonder and FASHION curated a luxurious soiree for the Clarins Precious Skincare launch.

“Our event was a resounding success!” says Isabelle Rochefort of Clarins Canada. “From the initial planning stages to final execution, every aspect was handled with utmost professionalism, attention to detail and creativity. Your team’s dedication and commitment to delivering a memorable experience were truly commendable and exceeded our expectations.”
