Applications are now open for the 2026 Giuseppina Gagliano Family Wellness Grant.

The Grant empowers a Canadian organization dedicated to helping youth experience the strength and security of a safe, supportive, and loving family life. This includes ensuring their basic needs are met and that they have equal opportunities to thrive, learn, grow, and feel valued.

Established in honour of SJC’s matriarch, Giuseppina Gagliano, the Grant continues her legacy of supporting family well-being across Canada. An immigrant mother of ten and partner to her entrepreneurial husband who started a printing business from the basement of their family home, Giuseppina faced many challenges and sacrifices. Through it all, she believed that a strong family foundation built on love and support could overcome anything. (Read more about her story.)
