October 30, 2025 (Toronto, ON) – Toronto Life will announce its highly anticipated Most Influential 2025 list on November 13, 2025. The definitive ranking of the city’s most influential people will be revealed in the magazine's new issue and celebrated at an exclusive party that evening.
For decades, the Toronto Life Most Influential list has identified the key individuals shaping the city's future. The annual ranking lists the 50 people whose vision, clout and actions are shaping Toronto across the fields of politics, business, sports, tech, culture and beyond.
The coveted number-one spot has a history of recognizing figures of national and international importance. The 2023 list was headlined by AI pioneer Geoffrey Hinton, just months before he was awarded the 2024 Nobel Prize in physics for his foundational work in artificial intelligence. The 2024 list honoured PWHL stars Sarah Nurse, Natalie Spooner and Blayre Turnbull for their groundbreaking impact on professional women’s sports.

The 2025 celebration will be held at the new SixtyEight by O&B. The invitation-only party is one of the city’s most exclusive annual gatherings, bringing together 250 VIP guests (see highlights from last year’s star-studded event here). The evening will kick off with the intimate New Power Cocktail Reception for a curated list of Toronto Life’s rising stars. The Most Influential 2025 list will be available at torontolife.com and in the new print issue, on sale November 13.
