Porter Airlines brings SJC’s Strategic Content Labs on board as official media sales partner and publisher of <i>re:porter</i> magazine

As Porter Airlines adds millions of new passengers with the introduction of new Embraer E195-E2s jets and the expansion of its network across North America, SCL is overseeing media sales for a growing number of content touch points across the Porter passenger journey. These unique advertising opportunities include Onboard Sampling, Wifi Sponsorships, Pre Roll & Video Entertainment Sponsorship, Onboard Video and Banners, Email, Custom Content and more.SCL is also creating all-original, premium content and photography cover-to-cover for the bi-monthly in-flight re:porter magazine. Catering to the urban, affluent and well-traveled Porter reader, re:porter features hidden gems, food and people of Porter cities, as well as general lifestyle content on the latest travel and urban trends.

“We are incredibly excited to expand our Porter partnership at such a pivotal time with passengers back in the air, ready to explore the world again,” says Nicole Mullin, Commercial Director of Media Sales & Partnerships for SCL. “As Porter grows, so too do the impressions and passenger engagements we offer advertisers across the multi-channel Porter passenger journey. There is no more engaged audience than passengers with time to relax and absorb the content, whether it’s a video ad they watch before accessing the free in-flight Wifi or a custom content article in re:porter.”

SCL has been working with Porter on custom content and ad sales since 2018, but this is its first year as official media sales partner and publisher of re:porter. Highlights of the March/April issue include a fragrant tour of NoMad, New York's historic flower district and one of the city's coolest quarters in “The Destination,” chic hotel openings, cozy neighbourhood joints, quirky activities and up-and-coming shops in” Around Town” and insights from some of North America's top karaoke bands in “The Pursuit.”

Offering convenient flights to a growing list of North American destinations, Porter has already started new service for key Canadian destinations, including Vancouver, Calgary and Edmonton. Future route plans include the southern U.S., Mexico and the Caribbean.
