We are thrilled to announce that Strategic Content Labs (SCL), a division of SJC, won two awards from the Associated Church Press: the Award of Merit for publication website and an award for General excellence in website design.
SCL renamed and rebranded the award-winning website for Canada’s oldest continuously published magazine, Broadview, formerly the United Church Observer.
The design mission? To bridge together the past and present for an easy-to-navigate responsive website that would embody the publication’s rebrand while holding strong to its core roots.
The site launched in 2019 and immediately received praise from its legacy users who appreciated the rebranded vision of the publication that SCL successfully brought to life.
“Thanks to the great work from Strategic Content Labs, Broadview has an elegant website that reflects our brand and values,” said Emma Prestwich, Digital Editor for Broadview. “The team designed our site from the bottom up when we rebranded in 2019 and continue to make it even better.”
Earlier this year, Pivot magazine, published by CPA Canada in partnership with SCL, won six gold medals, the prestigious Best Magazine Award, two silver medals, and five honourable mentions at the 2021 National Magazine awards (NMA): B2B.
