Summary:
From its full-service multi-studio facility, SJC Content works with leading brands and retailers to create content for every channel, including photography, video, social animation, interactive e-commerce content and digital signage. The Sample Coordinator will be responsible for incoming and outgoing samples for a designated group of client projects. In this role, the Sample Coordinator will work closely with Sourcing, Design, Visual and Marketing teams to ensure that their samples are tracked, received, and distributed and throughout the product life cycle.
Position Overview:
The Sample Room Merchandise Coordinator will perform on incoming and outgoing samples for a designated group of client projects. In this role, work with the Sample Coordinator and closely working with Sourcing, Design, Visual and Marketing teams to ensure that their samples are tracked, received, and distributed and throughout the product life cycle
In this role you will:
- Manage all samples including, receiving, organizing, distributing and tracking.
- Communicate with clients and follow up the missing products.
- Manage internal tracking system for real time status of samples, from the various vendors.
- Update the project sample details with Production team Creative team etc.
- Update and manage the missing sample report accordingly
- Be extremely detail orientated
- Responsible for coordinating & managing samples including, receiving, organizing, distributing and tracking.
- Manage day to day samples to studio according to the projects
- Occasional Delivery pick up and drop off required from time to time.
- Other duties as required
And a bit about yourself:
- 2-4 years of related work experience
- Experience with sample coordination in the marketing or production industry
- Strong Excel skills preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational skills and ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Superior time-management skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritize work according to deadlines
- Detail-oriented, accurate, efficient, organized and quality-focused
- Packing and unpacking skills
- Willingness to see projects through to the end and able to work longer days or weekends when required
- Ability to identify problems and suggest potential solutions
- Detail-oriented, accurate, efficient, organized and quality-focused
EDUCATION:
- Highschool Diploma or equivalent education required, College diploma preferred.
