About The Role

In this role you will:

  • Establish project scope by studying strategic business drivers; discovering and validating business and technical requirements and parameters; obtaining input from subject-matter experts; examining and recommending changes to current business practices.
  • Develop and write proposals.
  • Develop solutions by formulating objectives; planning project life-cycle deliverables and resource availability and application; preparing implementation and modification specifications; leading the exploration, evaluation, and design of solutions.
  • Monitor project progress; track action items; conduct design and implementation reviews; examine, research, and resolve issues; escalating issues to appropriate authority; responding to team member’s concerns; coordinating requirements with interested departments.
  • Provide project status reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data and trends.
  • Accomplish organization goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
  • Be the hub of communication for assigned projects – keep in regular contact with internal and external partners engaged in delivering the product.
  • Balance project requirements across the organization, prioritizing projects, and tasks based on available resources and direction set by stakeholders.
  • Conduct competitive research to ensure projects are considering the latest trends and technology in the marketplace.

Leadership

  • Help establish the vision for each digital property; articulates and communicates the vision in a clear and compelling way to internal and external audiences.
  • Deliver status reports to stakeholders as needed on business performance as it pertains to company products.
  • Work with the Leadership team to implement strategy and business direction.
  • Manage the hiring process, communicate responsibilities, and outline the workflow for all new product-focused employees.
  • Manage the relationships of external partnerships and projects.
  • Takes ownership for each digital property and is accountable for its measurable success.

Product Ownership

  • Conduct competitive research to ensure digital properties are considering the latest trends in the marketplace.
  • Continually explore opportunities to increase digital properties’ end-user value and revenue while working within advertising and business objectives.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to establish, prioritize, and maintain the product roadmap for each digital property and make roadmap progress visible to stakeholders.
  • Continuous use of evidence-based decision making in communication and prioritization decisions.
  • Balances and coordinates requirements across digital properties, while ruthlessly prioritizing features and tasks based on input from stakeholders.

Agile Practices

  • Follow contemporary Agile/Lean practices to deliver on business objectives.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and the technical teams to groom the feature backlog, ensuring backlog items are ready to be actioned by the technical team.
  • Clearly and concisely define feature acceptance criteria; collaborates with the technical teams and other departments as needed during feature implementation; verifies that the acceptance criteria met.

Operations

  • Review digital property performance metrics (e.g., engagement, conversion rates, etc.); identifies and analyzes trends in performance metrics; escalates and reports on issues as needed; tracks issues through to resolution.
