Gottschalk+Ash Purchased by Entro Communications


Toronto, Ontario (October 13, 2011)Gottschalk+Ash International was established in 1966 by Fritz Gottschalk and Stuart Ash. Over its 40+ year history, the company has built an international reputation for environmental graphic design having planned, designed, and executed wayfinding strategies for a wide range of high-calibre clients. Through DW+Partners, St. Joseph Communications acquired G+A in 2004, adding it to our Content platform.

St. Joseph Content provides unique, integrated content solutions, producing a wide variety of marketing collateral, both print and digital, as well as package design and shopper marketing solutions, all with a specific focus on the retail and consumer marketplace. As we look at the future direction of St. Joseph Content, we realized that G+A was no longer a strong strategic fit. For this reason, we have decided to sell G+A to Entro Communications.

Based in Toronto, Entro is a leader in the field of environmental communications making it a great place for G+A to continue its legacy. Both St. Joseph and Entro believe that it’s the people that make the company, as such the majority of associates from G+A will move over to Entro as part of the purchase.

St. Joseph Content’s four remaining businesses – Alchemy, CMI, DW+Partners and Pi Media – remain committed to helping customers grow their brands through multi-channel marketing solutions.
