SUMMARY:
St. Joseph Media is Canada's third largest magazine publisher with brands including award-winning titles such as Toronto Life, FASHION, Weddingbells, MARIAGE Québec, Where Canada magazines, Canadian Family, Ottawa Magazine and Quill & Quire.
The Web Administrator is a key member of the Client Services team, working directly with a Project Manager responsible for assisting in the execution of client projects such as eblasts, contests, newsletters, newsletter insertions and integrated partnerships. The successful candidate will have experience in web design and basic-to-intermediate HTML/CSS markup skills.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Test, schedule and deploy client eblasts. Some original design may also be necessary.
Deploy contests and design associated graphics
Code HTML/CSS for client projects as needed
Collect design and content assets from clients and prepare them for publishing online
Assist in the management of listings across a number of web properties
Test and de-bug new projects prior to launch
Assist the Project Manager in compiling reports on client project performance
Assist senior designers and other staff on SJM magazine brand properties when necessary
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum 2 years experience working with clients on web-based projects
Minimum 2 years experience with HTML and CSS
Minimum 2 years experience with Photoshop
Experience with Illustrator and InDesign considered an asset
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multi-task
Excellent written and oral skills
Experience with MS Word and Excel
Working knowledge of web metrics software (i.e. Google Analytics, WebTrends, etc) considered an asset
Previous experience in one or more of the following considered an asset: web design, web development, web marketing, sales, account management
