St. Joseph Communications is now adding a new role to our talented Corporate Executive Team:

Chief Marketing Officer

Reporting to the C.E.O., the Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) will be responsible for creating a marketing culture consistent with the emerging solutions value proposition, including social media and web-based strategies. This role will oversee the development of goals, strategies, and implementation plans to execute a comprehensive and cohesive marketing campaign for St Joseph’s suite of communications solutions. The CMO will promote the creation, enhancement and development of programs to maintain brand integrity and strategically position St. Joseph as an industry leader; oversee the launch and management of new products, services, and associated brands to meet profitability goals through effective marketing programs; and will develop deep relationships with the Company’s most important clients, to achieve the Company’s vision.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Maintain the Company’s brand integrity and strategically position St. Joseph as an industry leader.

  • Develop and implement marketing and sales strategies, which will consistently achieve planned objectives.

  • Plan and analyze sales, marketing, and business strategy.

  • Lead the development of a sustainable, long-term Social Media strategy.

  • Prepare and deliver various marketing and strategy presentations, as required.

  • Oversee the launch and management of new products, services, and associated brands to meet marketing goals and objectives.

  • Support marketing teams in their project completion, budget and strategy.

  • Strategically plan and manage St. Joseph’s market position, competitive analysis, customer segment selection and penetration plans, and product positioning.

  • Oversee marketing communications including branding, public relations, advertising, white papers, trade shows, seminars and events, analyst and market research management, and website design and content.

  • Define and direct marketing programs for lead generation and interface with sales for lead tracking and management.

  • Work closely with Sales Leaders to develop and manage channel and partner strategies and programs.

  • Oversee product marketing including product launch management, sales training, presentations, sales tools, competitive analysis and general sales support.

  • Work with the CEO and the other executive team members to identify and develop strategic alliances, to acquire and grow major customer accounts.

  • Develop and manage the Corporate Marketing budget.

  • Develop and track metrics and success criteria for all marketing programs and activities.

  • Act as spokesperson for the company with the press, analysts and industry events.

Formal Education & Certification

  • University degree in Business/Commerce, Marketing or Business Administration. An MBA is preferred.

Knowledge & Experience

  • Solid background in Marketing and Communications field, in a B2B environment
  • Experience managing and/or directing strategic marketing campaigns at a senior level
  • Experience working with agencies and brands on multichannel marketing and advertising campaigns (broadcast, interactive, print and direct)
  • Proven experience in developing, planning, and executing strategic marketing campaigns
  • Ability to effectively develop work groups and obtain executive-level support for strategic marketing initiatives
  • Proven ability to execute initiatives on time and on budget
  • Extensive knowledge of CRM tools, applications and campaign management
  • Strong public speaking and presentation skills
  • Exposure to business theory, business processes, management, budgeting and operations
  • Excellent understanding of project management principles
  • Proven experience in planning, organization and development
  • Superior understanding of the organization’s goals and objectives
  • Familiarity with applicable laws and regulations, as they relate to marketing
